11 Oral Hygiene Tips

Proper oral hygiene is critical for the prevention of tooth and gum disease such as cavities, gingivitis, gum disease, halitosis and periodontal disease. We also know which foods are beneficial and which are harmful for our teeth, our gums and our overall health.

Taking good care of your teeth and gums is so much more important than just maintaining a nice smile. Here are a few simple tips you can make use of to improve your oral health.
1.Stay away from food with lots of sugar (cookies, candy, cake etc.)

7.Consider ending a meal with a bit of cheese to neutralize acids in your mouth.
8.The timing of meals is almost as important as what you eat. Consume sweets only at main mealtimes, not between meals. Don’t eat sweets or acidic foods in the evening.
