A Special Swine Flu Vaccine Alert

A Special Swine Flu Vaccine Alert

There is growing concern among the health care community and general public regarding the push for a pandemic H1N1 vaccination due to known and unknown side effect potential. This past August, the Daily Mail, UK distribution, leaked a letter from the Health Protection Agency regarding neurologists’ concerns about a link to a “killer nerve disease.” This relates back to 1976, when the federal government rushed a Swine Flu vaccine into production and distribution, which resulted in 25 times the number of deaths than were attributed to the actual influenza. Many thousands were affected with secondary neurological complications.

The 2009 H1N1 vaccination has been recommended by the CDC in addition to the annual seasonal flu shot, which has recently been linked to a new a controversy, especially when given to children with chronic lung afflictions. Unfortunately, those who are members of the SEIU are bound to take the vaccine, if they do not they may suffer repercussion because big government says so.

Rather than providing immune support against seasonal flu outbreaks, there may be an increase in flu symptom severity among children who are vaccinated. Research presented at the 105th International Conference of the American Thoracic Society in San Diego revealed that children who get the flu vaccine are three times more likely to be hospitalized than their peers who do not get the vaccine. Freedom is not just an afterthought and always thought people could come to their conclusion.

Considering the mildness of the pandemic flu strain, should medical authorities be concerned more about pre-existing medical conditions? A recent study showed that of 36 fatal pandemic influenza cases in children, 67% had one or more high-risk medical conditions, most commonly neurodevelopmental disorders. The CDC also acknowledges that secondary bacterial co-infections play a significant role in fatalities.

Nutrition plays a critical role in both prevention and reduction of severity of influenza, acknowledged by both the Centers for Disease Control and World Health Organization. A 2009 report from the WHO confirms that nutritional insufficiency can lead to more severe flu expression and complications. Nutritional deficiencies, if not reversed, lead to compromised immune function, which the CDC admits can increase incidence of complications from seasonal flu and result in a higher risk of succumbing to H1N1 viral complications.

What would happen if a dietary supplement caused children to be three times more likely to be hospitalized with influenza complications? With so much evidence pointing to lack of vaccine efficacy, potential vaccine dangers and the supportive role of good nutrition acknowledged by the CDC and WHO, one might consider what nature has to offer for keeping your family safe and healthy this fall and winter.
